We have been informed of the recent arrest of a previous guest on our show, Art Anderson. We understand the seriousness of the allegations but that these are as-yet unproven in a court of law. We feel it is not our place to judge as we do not know any facts. We do not condone or support any of the alleged actions of the accused.
We recorded the Art Anderson interview before these allegations became know. We are choosing at this time to leave the interviews up on our site as we feel that the insight into the hobby provides interest and information on the history and process of model building that is still relevant.
However, we do caution our listeners to proceed in listening to these older interviews at their own discretion. Please reach out to us if you have any concerns or questions on this difficult and sensitive subject.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
Each January, Gary Kulchock, a talented modeller from the North Central West Virginia Scale Modelers club, organizes a 24-hour model car build to coincide with the running of the 24 hours of Daytona race in Florida. This year, the 24 Hour Model Car Build Challenge will take place on January 26-27 starting at noon EST. This challenge is an excellent way to challenge yourself and complete a model at the beginning of the year. Because of the limited time frame, the idea of building a kit in 24 consecutive hours is both challenging and limiting; done is better than perfect and one cannot give in to the temptation to super detail everything and fix every problem one may encounter.Read More
